~Christmas Eve 2009 ~

We celebrate the Virgil of Christmas Eve. The table was set, the symbolic manger of Bethlehem in place, the aromatic smell of evergreen filled the air illuminated by candlelight. The holiest of all nights, we gather with family and loved ones, share oplatek, and wish each other well for the coming year. We enjoy a fine meal and give thanks we are healthy and doing well, all with the hopes Christ our Lord is with us.

So what ever you believe, what ever you celebrate this time of year, I hope it's all in good spirit. After all, if it wasn't for times like these to make us stop and enjoy a moment in our crazy lives, what would it truely be all about?
